Spike in Golden's
The Watcher's Guide
by Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder
Do you spend time with any of the other cast members off the set?
JAMES: Yes, very much. We get along really well. In Fact, David and Nick and Todd McIntosh and Set Green and I all went over to Todd's for dinner. He's a great cook. We had a marvelous time. Todd wanted us to get on-line, and we were all like, 'What are we going to say?' By the time we actually got in there, they couldn't put us out.
Last Halloween, Alyson and I got made up as vampires and went out. She's hot as a vampire.
I have to say, the people who do the hiring around here really understand how important it is that people work well together. A lot of people would sacrifice that for other things, but I think it makes it a nice place to work."
Do you have a favorite moment, on or off screen, from your tenure on the series?
JAMES: By far, my favorite moment was in the first episode I did when I put my vampire henchman's head through the glass
of the fire extinguisher. I love playing Spike because I get into fights and no one has to go to the police station, and no
one has to go to the hospital!
